Namibia Chapter Four

Today I would be paying a visit to the last place on my list as Hubby was only working until lunch time and then the three of us would be taking a drive to Walvis Bay this afternoon.

My last place of interest was the Kristall Gallery.

What an amazing place, the beauty that lies underneath our feet. With my visit having taken longer than expected I rushed back to the chalet to meet up with Hubby and Phineas for our trip to Walvis Bay.

We arrived in Walvis Bay with me anxious to get out of the car and click away.

The guys were hungry and thirsty so our first stop was to find a restaurant to shut them up.

While they patiently sat and waited for our cappuccinos and scones I took a walk to do the obvious... click away.

I headed back to join the boys before they devoured my food.
On route though I came across this brave little being.

His owner had made this contraption himself to help his four legged friend who was paralysed from the " waist " down to get around.

Anyway, cappuccinos drunk and scones devoured we headed off to take a drive around.

We drove a little way out of town and came across a small wetland reserve with hundreds of flamingoes.

After taking a photo or two.... we decided to take a slow drive back and stop and take a walk on one of the beaches along the way.

Relaxed by all the fresh air we headed back to our chalet for a home made dinner, hot shower and slumber.
