Namibia Chapter Three

The sun had risen on our third morning in Swakopmund and time was running out, we only had two days left before having to head back to SA and I still had so much to see.

The morning routing done I headed out of the door as today I wanted to tick off at least two place on my list.

My first visit was to the reptile " park ". It was a house, very unusual.

Hubby was quite surprised that I had this on my list as I was not a lover of creepy crawlies and things that slither around but I was adamant to visit every place of interest in Swakopmund.

I dislike any creature being kept captive but as I walked through this place I was quite glad that they couldn't get out...

This little fella was adorable and the lady managing the snake park took him out for mme to have a closer look as she needed to check on him as he didn't seem to happy.

With my skin crawling I gladly stepped outside to have a look see at the historical items they had dotted around in the garden.

Time to find a cup of coffee...

Before heading off to the museum...

With sore feet and tired body I headed off to the store where Hubby and Phineas were working to get a lift home.

As all three of us were quite exhausted we decided to pick up take aways and head back to the chalet for a hot shower and some much needed rest.
